Charlie Weitzenberg is an origami tessellation artist with a degree in Computer Science from Montana State University in Bozeman.

Origami tessellation is a technique for folding a single flat sheet into complex, repeating patterns. Much of Charlie’s work explores how light meets the paper: lampshades that glow from within, and framed pieces where every crease catches the light, drawing out the beauty of symmetry and geometry.

His studio notes share time-lapses of the folding, new patterns and the origami tools he is developing.
